We trade as Rankedwire, and we own and operate the news publications at newsdesk.press. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SIGNAUTO MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY CO W.L.L. "You" means the person or business holding an account.
You give us information about your business. Our newsroom writes articles about it and publishes them on our own news publications.
Three things about that are important enough to say at the front, because they are unusual and because they are the things people most often assume otherwise.
The articles are produced with AI assistance. Every article carries the sentence "Produced by our newsroom with AI assistance." on the article itself and on the journalist and methodology pages of the publication carrying it. We do not hide it and we do not vary the wording.
We publish on our own publications. The publications at newsdesk.press are owned and operated by us. We are not placing your article in a newspaper that belongs to somebody else, and we do not claim to. If you want coverage in publications we do not own, this service is not that.
This is editorial coverage, not advertising. We write about your business in our own words, to our own standards. That is set out in full in section 12.
You need an account to buy anything.
You must confirm your email address. You can sign in and look around before you confirm, but buying credits, starting a plan, starting a campaign and requesting an affiliate payout all wait until you have clicked the link we send you. This protects you as much as us: it is how we know we can reach you about your money and your articles.
Accounts are separate by role. Customer accounts, affiliate partner accounts and staff accounts are separate spaces. The same email address may hold one of each, and signing in to one does not sign you in to another. Each space has its own username and its own sign in page. This is deliberate: it means a partner account cannot see a customer account's money, and the reverse.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what is done through your account. Tell us at support@rankedwire.com if you think somebody else has access to it.
You add one or more brands to your account. A brand is the business a set of articles is about.
Before a brand can be published about, its brand brief must be completed and approved by you. Once you approve it, the brief is locked. The brief is the source of truth for every article we write about that brand, so we ask you to read it before you lock it.
You may add further brands at any time. Each brand is treated separately for pricing, for delivery and for the limits in section 11.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply (see section 22).
| What you buy | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Single | 1 article, one off | $34 |
| Starter | 2 articles every 30 days | $48 |
| Growth | 5 articles every 30 days | $112 |
| Authority | 10 articles every 30 days | $216 |
A cycle is 30 days. It begins the moment you start the plan and ends 30 days later to the second. A cycle is not a calendar month. February and January are the same length here, which means your renewal date moves slightly earlier through the calendar over time. We say "every 30 days" everywhere in this document and in the product, and we never say "monthly", because they are not the same thing.
One plan per brand. A brand may hold one plan at a time. If you want more coverage for that brand, you move it up a plan. If you want to cover a different business, you add it as a new brand and give that brand its own plan.
Research is included. We search for what has already been published about your business and use it to build your brief. On any plan there is no separate charge for that.
The Single article is for a brand that has no live plan. You pay once, one article is published, and nothing renews. A brand with a live or paused plan cannot buy one; see section 11.
This section is your authority for us to charge you again. Please read it.
When you start a plan, you are buying a recurring service, not a single purchase. By starting a plan you authorise us, and our payment provider on our behalf, to charge you the price of that plan every 30 days, automatically, without asking you again each time, until the plan is cancelled by you or by us under these terms.
In plain words: you are agreeing to be charged again in 30 days, and again 30 days after that, until you stop it.
The specifics:
We will tell you before we take a renewal from your account balance if that balance will not cover it. See section 7.
There are two ways to pay.
By card. You are taken to our payment provider's own hosted page to enter your card. Your card details are entered on their systems, not ours. We never receive, see or store a card number or security code at any point. What we keep is a set of identifiers that only work against our own merchant account and are useless anywhere else. Those identifiers are what make an automatic renewal possible.
From your account balance. You can fund a balance in your account, including by cryptocurrency, and each renewal draws from it. Your balance is held in credits. One credit is worth the amount shown on the Billing page in your account, which today is one US dollar.
If your balance will not cover the next renewal, we will email you about it approximately three days before that renewal is due, so you have time to top up. Cryptocurrency payments are not instant and can take hours to confirm, which is why we warn you early rather than on the day.
Your balance is not a bank account. It is a prepaid balance for use in this service. Section 8 and the Refund Policy say when it is and is not returned to you.
If a renewal payment fails, whether the card is declined or the account balance is short, this is exactly what happens.
A pause is not a cancellation, and we never cancel your plan automatically for non payment. While a plan is paused:
To come back, update your payment details or top up your balance, and press resume. We take the outstanding payment first and the plan only restarts if that payment succeeds. The new 30 days run from the day you resume, not from where the old cycle stopped, because you did not receive delivery during the pause and we are not going to sell you ten days and call it thirty.
You may cancel a plan at any time, from the Plans screen in your account. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
What happens when you cancel:
You can undo a cancellation at any time before the cycle ends, using the "Keep my plan" button, and the plan then continues as normal.
Moving up a plan takes effect immediately. You are charged only the difference between the two prices, and only for the days remaining in the current cycle. You are not charged the full new price on top of what you have already paid. The extra articles are commissioned into the cycle you are already in.
Moving down a plan takes effect at your next renewal. You keep everything the current cycle already includes, and the lower price starts when the next 30 days begin.
Any one brand may take at most ten articles in any rolling 30 day period, whatever it has bought and however it paid.
This is a limit on the brand, not a plan size. It applies to plans, to Single articles and to any combination of them. We enforce it before any money moves, so an order that would exceed it is refused at the point of ordering and not charged, and we tell you when the next space opens.
Two consequences worth stating plainly:
We may raise the limit for a particular brand at our discretion. Such a raise is granted by the company owner, is recorded with a reason and an expiry, lasts 90 days by default, and lapses on its own. You have no right to a raise, we are not obliged to grant one, and we may decline without giving reasons. It is mentioned here so that if you are offered one you know what it is.
The limit exists so that our publications continue to read as genuine coverage rather than as a channel for one business. That is what makes them worth publishing in.
This is the section most likely to differ from what you expect. Please read it.
We write and control the editorial content. We decide what is published, in what words, and when. There is no promise of any specific outcome. Specifically:
We promise no outcome of any kind. We do not promise, and nothing in this service or on our website should be read as promising:
What we do promise is delivery: the number of articles your plan says, written by our newsroom, published on our publications, within the 30 days of the cycle. That is the whole of it.
Timing. The first article of a cycle is published within 24 hours of the cycle starting. The rest are spread across the 30 days of the cycle, at most one article per brand per day.
Our standards. We apply automated and human checks before publication. In particular:
These checks are ours, applied to our publications, and they are not negotiable per customer.
When you give us information, images, logos or any other material, you confirm that:
You are responsible for the truth of what you tell us about your own business. We write about the business you describe. We are not able to independently verify your trading history, your qualifications or your claims, and we do not undertake to.
If material you supply causes a claim against us, section 19 applies.
Anyone may report an article. There is a public reporting form at rankedwire.com/report-article and it does not require an account. It is open to you, to a competitor, and to any third party written about. We built it that way deliberately, because the person most likely to be harmed by an error is often not our customer.
A report never changes an article by itself. It is recorded for a person to review. One of our editors then reaches one of three outcomes, and we tell the reporter which:
A removal is not automatically a refund. Whether any money is returned is decided separately under the Refund Policy, and we say so here so that reporting an error is never confused with claiming money back.
If you think an article about your own brand is wrong, the fastest route is support@rankedwire.com.
What you supply stays yours. You keep ownership of the information, images and logos you give us. You grant us a licence to use them for the purpose of writing about your business, publishing that writing on our publications, and keeping it published. That licence lasts for as long as the article remains published, and it is worldwide and royalty free because publishing on the internet is.
The article we write is ours. We own the copyright in the articles our newsroom produces, and in the publications they appear on. You may link to your articles, quote from them with attribution, and refer to them in your own marketing. You may not republish an article in full elsewhere without asking us.
We may keep an article published. Because the articles are ours, on our publications, we are not obliged to remove one because you have cancelled, because your plan lapsed, or because you have changed your mind about wanting coverage. In practice we expect to consider a reasoned request, and section 15 is the route for one, but this is not a right you have.
We may remove an article at our discretion, including under section 15, and we are not obliged to keep any particular article published indefinitely.
We may refuse a brand, refuse a particular subject, suspend an account, or stop publishing for a brand where:
If we stop covering a brand at our own initiative, and you have not breached these terms, the Refund Policy says what happens to money you have paid for articles not yet published.
We will give you a reason when we suspend or terminate, unless a law or a regulator prevents us.
This section applies if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union. It may also apply elsewhere. If you are buying for a business, it generally does not apply to you.
Consumer law in those places gives you a right to cancel a contract made at a distance within fourteen days, without giving a reason, and to be refunded.
That right is lost if you ask us to begin immediately and acknowledge that you will lose it. Because the first article of a cycle is published within 24 hours, performance necessarily begins inside the fourteen days.
So, when you start a plan or buy a Single article, you are asked to agree to the following, and the purchase does not proceed unless you do:
I want Rankedwire to begin work immediately, before the end of the fourteen day cancellation period. I understand and agree that once the work is complete I will lose my right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
If you give that agreement and we have already published, you cannot cancel under this section and no refund is due under it. If we have not yet begun, you may still cancel within the fourteen days and receive a full refund. If we have begun but not finished, you may cancel and we may charge you a proportionate amount for what has already been delivered.
This section does not affect your rights under section 9, which let you cancel a plan at any time.
What we do not limit, and cannot. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes rights the law gives you that cannot be signed away.
What we are responsible for. If we fail to deliver the articles your plan promised, we are responsible for that failure, and the Refund Policy sets out what we do about it.
What we are not responsible for. We are not liable for:
The cap. Our total liability to you for all claims arising in any 12 month period is limited to the total amount you actually paid us in that same 12 month period. We think that is the honest cap for a service at these prices: it means you can recover everything you paid us, and no more.
You indemnify us against claims brought by a third party that arise from material you supplied to us in breach of section 14.
You may register a separate affiliate partner account and refer customers to us.
Affiliate accounts are separate from customer accounts, as set out in section 3.
These terms. We may change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you may cancel under section 9 before it takes effect, and the cycle you have paid for still completes.
Prices. We may change our prices. A price change never applies to a cycle you have already paid for. For a plan, we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to a renewal, so you always have a full cycle in which to cancel before paying the new amount.
Prices are stated in US dollars. Where any tax, duty or levy is chargeable on your purchase, it may be added to the price, and you are responsible for any tax arising in your own country on your own account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring proceedings there where that law gives it to you.
