Privacy policy
Last updated 2 September 2026. This policy is between you and SIGNAUTO MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY CO W.L.L, Bahrain, which operates Rankedwire.
1. Who controls your data
SIGNAUTO MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY CO W.L.L, a company registered in
Bahrain, is the controller of the personal data described here.
You can reach us at support@rankedwire.com or on
+973 3369 4609.
2. What we collect
Everything in this list is something the system actually stores. There is nothing else.
-
Your account details. Email address, username, display name, the role the
account holds, whether it is active, and the date it was created. Your password is
never stored: we keep only a bcrypt hash of it, which cannot be reversed.
-
Your brand information and briefs. The business name, website, category,
description, products and services, target market, key facts, achievements,
locations and any notes you give us, plus the links you supply as source material.
-
Partner accounts. If you join the affiliate programme we also hold
the country and dialling code and the contact details you give at signup.
-
Payment records. What you bought, what you paid, when, in what currency,
and the reference the payment provider gave us.
We never see or store your card number, expiry date or security code.
No page of this service has a card field on it. Where you save a card for renewals,
we hold only opaque handles issued by our payment provider, which are useless to
anyone else.
-
What you agreed to. Each time you accept these documents we record
which version you saw and a cryptographic hash of the exact text, so that neither of
us can later be uncertain what was agreed.
-
Sign-in attempts. We record attempts to sign in, including the
IP address they came from, whether they succeeded, and the address
used. This is how we detect and rate-limit attacks on accounts. It is described here
because it is personal data, even though you never see it.
-
Support correspondence you send us.
We do not collect special category data, we do not buy data about you
from anyone, and we do not build advertising profiles.
3. Cookies
We use no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.
The cookies this site sets are functional and there are only two kinds:
-
A sign-in cookie, one for each role space you sign in to. It keeps
you signed in and nothing else. Signing out clears it.
-
A referral cookie, set only if you arrive through an affiliate link.
It records which partner referred you, lasts 30 days, and is never
overwritten by a later link. It holds a partner's referral code, not anything about
you.
4. How we use it, and our legal basis
-
To deliver what you bought, which is researching, writing and
publishing the articles. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
-
To take payment and keep financial records. Legal basis: performance
of our contract, and our legal obligations.
-
To keep accounts secure, which is what the sign-in records are for.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing unauthorised access to your
account and ours.
-
To answer you when you contact us. Legal basis: performance of our
contract, and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
We do not sell your data, and we never will.
5. What becomes public
This service exists to publish. The articles we write about your business are
public by design, on publications we operate, and they carry your business
name and the facts you gave us. They are indexed by search engines and may be read,
quoted and archived by anyone.
Your own name, email address, phone number and account details are
never published. Nothing about your account appears on any
publication.
Every article carries a disclosure that it was produced with AI assistance.
6. Who else processes your data
A small number of providers, each named, each for one purpose. This list is what the
service is actually configured to use.
- Hosting and storage providers. DigitalOcean for the managed database that holds the records above.
- Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site and stores article and logo images.
- Resend, which sends the email we send you: receipts, confirmations and password resets.
- Payment providers. Tap Payments for card payments, who hold the card so that we do not.
- NOWPayments, also a payment provider, for cryptocurrency where you choose that route.
-
Artificial intelligence providers, currently Anthropic,
OpenAI and fal.ai, which write and illustrate the
articles. Your brand and brief material and the public content of links you gave us
are sent to them for that purpose. They are used through business interfaces that do
not train models on what we submit.
-
Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to
disclose or need advice.
Some of these operate outside Bahrain, so your data may be processed
abroad under appropriate contractual safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
-
Account and brand data: while your account is open, and for up to
12 months after you close it.
-
Payment records and the record of what you agreed to: these
survive the deletion of your account and are kept for as long as tax
and company law in Bahrain requires, currently a minimum of
5 years. When an account is deleted these records are detached from it and keep only
an opaque internal reference, so they no longer identify you by name or email but
still show what was paid and what was agreed. We are required to be able to answer
both of those questions.
-
Published articles: indefinitely. They are part of a publication's
permanent record and are not deleted when an account closes.
-
Sign-in records, including IP addresses: kept while they remain
useful for security. We do not currently delete them on a fixed schedule,
and we say so rather than claim a rolling window we do not operate. If you want yours
removed, ask us.
-
Cost and usage records of what we spent producing your articles are
summarised after a period and the detail is discarded.
8. Security
- The site is served only over HTTPS, and the server accepts nothing else.
- Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never recoverable, by us or anyone.
- Repeated failed sign-ins are rate-limited and locked out.
- The database is not reachable from the public internet.
- Backups are encrypted with a passphrase held separately from the data.
- An email address must be confirmed before money or publishing can move.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever suffer a breach affecting your personal data
we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to
correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive
it in a portable form. Email
support@rankedwire.com and we will answer within
30 days.
Two honest limits on deletion. Articles already published are part of
a publication's permanent record and are not removed simply because an account closes;
and the payment and agreement records described in section 7 are kept because the law
requires it. Everything else can be deleted.
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first. You also have the right to
complain to the data protection authority where you live.
10. Children
This is a service for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not
knowingly collect data about children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we change the date at the top and record which version was in
force. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you.
